breathtaking views, charming village ambiance, dog-friendly atmosphere
Lack of internet services!!! Expensive takeaway meals in cardboard boxes with wooden forks!!! Rooms need updates, especially the bathrooms, and a TV would have been a nice touch!!!

It was just an ideal choice for a couple of nights in Shieldaig with great value for money. The bar across the road with beautiful views of Loch Shieldaig was a highlight after a long day. Make sure to check shower water pressure upon check-in.

The double room was really nice—spacious and comfy, felt very homey. No TV, but who needs it with the stunning views outside? The bed was super cozy, which made for a great sleep. The only thing is, it could have used a bit more decor to make it feel less bare. But honestly, I had a good time just relaxing there.

We had a fantastic time enjoying the locally sourced breakfast, especially the haggis, which was the best we’ve had! The cozy lounge and the stunning views from the patio were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The hallways are a bit noisy, but it didn’t bother us too much. 😊

Perfect for solo adventurers
I gotta say, the single room was surprisingly spacious, no cramped bed for me, it felt like I had my own little empire for a night. And the breakfast? It was great, particularly the fish options, a rare treat when most places only cater to the hog lovers.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for what you get, it's acceptable.

Perfect for weary travelers
The heartfelt hospitality was refreshing I got there late and the owner actually came down to cook me a full Scottish breakfast which was like getting a warm hug in food form and they didn’t even take my money for laundry after I begged for help with a week’s worth of clothes they just tossed it in the washer great people
It wasn’t exactly cheap but considering the comfort and service it was acceptable
